Okay, the LT1 and T-56 is actually IN... car's been run over 1200 miles, NO ISSUES. Awesome. Great. Perfect.

BUT...one thing NOT done was the a/c, because everything I've read is that the longest/toughest dern thing was the a/c... so I bought a 1LE LT1 A/C Delete Pulley to not even deal with the a/c... (to not delay the swap)...

Well, now that the combo works well, I want to tackle the a/c, but does anyone have any "molds" or something so I can just buy pre-fabbed LT1 a/c lines in a 3rd gen ?? I am using all F-body accessories... I haven't the slightest clue on making your own a/c lines, especially the flat plate with the high side/low side that will mount to the LT1 a/c compressor...

Ideas ? Or is it really not that bad..though everyone says it is!

 

Haven't performed the swap yet, but texaslt1 on his site has the part number for the Carquest adaptor that will allow you to hook your existing lines up to the a/c unit.

you need to notch the frame on that side, which i'm sure you can find details on with a search..

the other option I've heard of is using the passenger side motor mount from a caprice and hammering the frame.

I think I may do the same as you and get the 1le delete bracket... I'm not sure yet however.
