Ok guys...my newly built 383 short block should be here next week, and here at the house waiting for it is a set of Pro Topline 220cc port heads and a GM Performance roller cam with 236/242 @.050 and .539/.558 lift. And tomorrow I'm gonna be ordering the Holley Stealth Ram with 30lb injectors. According to my calculations, compression should work out to be around 10.5:1..and I know I'm pushing it with iron heads but I know that I get get it to work. I plan on putting it on the chassis dyno in a couple weeks so does anyone have any guess? I'm just curious.

I would guess 350-370 RWHP. You will computer tuning to get the most out of that setup.

 

That's about what I was thinking too. I'm looking forward to it. I'll post some pics when I get some.
