305 to 350 Brackets dont fit

I am nearing the end of my 305 to 350 swap....My problem is that I put heddman headers on the 350 and now my brackets that used to bolt up to my exhaust manifold nolonger fit....the header bends very soon after it leaves the head and I cannot space the bracket away from the head 2 inches because the bolt cannot pass the header due to the bend...I do not know what i am going to do I am thinking of havin the header custom bent so that i can put the bracket back on the bracket is for my AC and Power Steering It is the bracket that bolts up to the exhaust manifold. Has anyone else had this problem or one like it. I could really use the help..Maybe some pics would help too.
thanks

The A/C bracket is on the drivers side right? If so, the directions that come with the headers should have told you that you have to cut off the rear "ear" of the bracket that straddles the header tube. Don't worry it will hold, people have been doing it for years.
