Was wondering if anyone is attempting this? If so was wondering which brand. I know that the vortec is smaller in size then the paxton. Also can I run 93 octane if I'm all ready at 10.5:1 cc?

please let me know.

I've been wondering the same thing myself, you might have to custom order a kit since the pre-made kits for 93-97 f-bodys probably won't fit perfectly.

I'm planning this in spring '04. I'm leaning towards contacting a few local speed shops to see what can be done about a custom kit.

Thanks...that site is waaaay outdated. I'm planning on a revamp this fall/winter.
The car doesn't look like that anymore. It is now just a shell(drivetrain still in tact) awaiting paint. Two weeks and it goes in I am very pleased with the turnout. It stops, handles and performs way better than it was ever meant to. I have some tweaking to do with the PCM and rerouting in the engine bay. I also haven't hooked up the AC yet but at least I have it pretty much figured out. Just a matter of some custom lines. One drawback is definitley traction. I was out playing with it one day and after about 15 launches, I realized that drag radials are a must. On a roll, I've done great...off the line...just massive tire frying. I'll try and post some more current pics when it comes back from my paint guy.
