Va swap fuel problems??

Ok i have an 87 caprice motor in a 85 berlinetta. and i have a 83 2.8l camaro and want to swap the two. my problem is.... we had to run a new fuel line for the fuel pump in the caprice motor because it is on the side do i have to do the same thing for my 83??
