i am building a 383.i have heard both ways should i have my heads flowed before i start on the short block for maximum power? as for the the short block i am looking for about 500rwhpand tourque. the componets that i have picked are eagle h beam 6 inch rods, srp inverted pistons, and a scat cast 9000 crank. i have a tpis mini ram, trick flow 23 degree heads, and am getting a cam custom ground after this how thing is over. if you think another set of componets would be better to meet my needs that would help. no gas or superchargers raw power.
