LT1 Sawp, Must Do's b4 putting in engine?

Have a 96 LT1, looking for some advice.
B4 I put this baby in, what should I be doing to it?
I have puled the smog, got some Hedman Hedders, 1-5/8 D port 82-92 Shorties.

Going to put my Crane 1.6:1 roller rockers on.

What about cam? is there much to be seen by putting in a new cam? I don't want anything too lumpy. Mainly street car with a little strip. Daily dry summer days driver car.. With potential for a supercharger down the road.
I guess is there anythign I prob should do, that i may regret after its in?

Thanks

If it were me doing the LT1 swap I would definitely do a cam swap. From wat I have heard the LT4 hot cam is even kind of mild in a LT1 so you may want something more agressive. Other that that I would do a little porting work on the heads, maybe get them rebuilt, and do some port matching. Other than that I don't know.

The Hotcam is very streetable. I bought the entire kit for my engine. In rtrospect I wish I had used a cc306. Whatever cam you choose be sure to upgrade your springs.
