HELP I need pics of serpentine brackets
I don't know if this is where this should be or not, but I need pics of the support brackets and of the hard metal fuel lines for an 89 Formula 350 TPI set up. I have the big aluminum brackets in place, but need to figure out how the a/c pump support bars are routed and where they attach to the a/c pump. The other thing I need is to see the hard fuel lines from the flex lines to the intake manifold. Pleas hook me up so I can get this little task finished.

reply to you serpentine problem
hi if you have the simple serpentine 6 groove and want to remove ac and air pump its kind of easy it cost me 2 days and a 1989 stock bracket to lern...i first modifiet that bracket to let pass the rad hose and tb hose and when finnally put the bracket in place the height on the ac was to hight and the hood was impossible to close dont do wat i did. the easyesy way is to buy a new pulley on the binder with the groove on and instead of pushing the belt down use it to pull...onli thing to fin is to make a bracket to hold the hose of tb and rad off the way

I think that you missed what I was asking for. First off, I want to keep my A/C, thanks. I plan on taking the car on a couple road trips this summer and it gets up into the high 90's quite frequently where I live. Second, the air pump has to stay for emmissions conformance. I sourced the brackets, etc . from my old 89 Formula 350 before I parted it out, so I had no clearance problems at all. The only thing I can't seem to find are the steel rod braces that bolt to the A/C pump/bracket and go back to the block/intake. Even if I could find them, I can't for the life of me remember how they went. That brought me to my question, I need a picture that shows those 2 braces on the A/C side so I can look for them, and also figure out how they go in.

Yes tose helped a bit, but I need a pic of the other side just like the 2nd one you posted. I was pretty sure that I had the brace right on the alternator side, and those pics settle that, but now I need the A/C side. Those pics also help out on routing of the fuel lines. :yourock:

Well, unfortunately, I won't be able to get other pics until saturday... I do know that one brace goes from a stud on the passenger side of the a/c compressor (the stud that bolts the compressor to the bracket) to a stud on the exhaust manifold (it is the second exhaust bolt hole back iirc)... The other one goes from the other side of the compressor to the intake manifold (there are two holes, it goes to the bottom one... I think you can see a little of it on the first pic I posted)...

Thank you guys. Those answer the questions well enough. The dealer said that he can get me the braces (after a little arm twisting) and it looks like they are different enough that even I can't screw them up. By the way, thanks for trying to e-mail me, right now my work e-mail is down. We are having a few problems with the T1 to DSL switch. I should (that's what they tell me) have e-mail by March.
