LT1 Swap, LT1 PS Pump questions.
Will the PS pump from a 4th gen work.. no probs except the lines? A little concerned.. 4th gen had a rack.. .. and im going over budget quick... but what else is new...

Jeez man, you should have put this all in one topic, a lot of this is already discussed in many topics, the fourth gen P/S is used, you need to buy a reservoir for a fourth gen because the reservoir is not located on the pump, I bought one from a 98 V6 3.8 firebird. You will have to make some custom hoses.

i find it hard to search for somethings because you can only put in 3 char or more.. AC, PS don't work..

You won't necessarily have to make custom hoses but it probably will be neater. I used the stock '94 Vette p/s hose and it fits perfectly but it could be about 2-3" shorter. I'm sure there is a GM p/s hose that will work perfectly it's just no one has stumbled accross it yet.
