LT1 or LT1 intake

Seems like guys who put an LT1 intake on their 350 tpi get about the same power as a stock 350 LT1. So would it be easier to just put an LT1 intake on and get the remote t-stat housing and new fuel rails? Seems like the LT1 intake is a better way to go cost wise.

Check this out. It should help you determine what is involved with a spap like this.

has anyone done a comparison between a stock TPI setup and an LT1 intake? I plan to convert my 305 to TPI eventually and a full used TPI setup and a LT1 intake would be about the same price.
