v6-v8 questions
i have a 90 camaro rs v6 3.1L auto tranny. now my question is wont pretty much any general motors engine work for a swap into this car? as long as it is between the yeares of 82-92?

Yuuuuuup. Any SBC really.
EDIT: Just noticed you said GM, thought you said chevrolet. Any SBC will fit in with little or no modification.

Very few General Motors engines, actually, since the vast majority of GM cars are front wheel drive.

Car: 86 T/A, 86 z28, 79 berlinetta, 69 chevelle (totally rusted)
Engine: 350's in the f-bodys. 327 in the works for the T/A, MIGHT go with a 383, none in the chevelle
Transmission: T/A has a 5-speed, z28 has a 700-r4, th-350 in the 79' (5 or 6-speed soon), and none in the chevelle
check your tranny bolt pattern. I'm doing this swap right now, but from a 2.8, and my tranny has a different bellhousing bolt pattern. But thats ok I picked up a 5-speed for it instead
