lt1 swap, need info in ALT connector

Engine: 350 LT1
Transmission: T56
lt1 swap, need info in ALT connector
What is the little (18-20ga) red wire coming out of the alt elec connecter? it is the 3rd pin (pin 1 being the bigger of the 4) . It is the only wire on the connector.. I think it goes inside the car but my connector there was cut.
