i have recieved am 87 iroc that me and my dad have taken the old motor out and put in a crate 350. is there any way i can find out which motor we put in so i can try to get some specs on it.

I dont understand how you can have a crate engine and not know where its from ??

Dont you have paper work, or a decription ?

its from gm but i dont know witch motor it is. i guess i needed to have made that clearer.

i know it is a 350. i know it runs really well compared to the lt1s.
i was just tryin to find out if there is anything on it to find a serial number or somthing to look it up online and get some specs for it.

 

there are casting numbers on the block, and heads..
that should give you an idea.. tho the cam and internals,
i dont see how you can identify them..

maybe the seller could give you some info ..

You should be able to do a Google with the numbers you get off the engine and find out what it is.

 

it was done for fun there bud. i admit that i went to a bad school but i think i knew WITCH way i spelled it.
