any one ever used a 4 barrel intake on an lt1? If so, how do you time it?

Not sure what you mean by time it, but if your using GMPP's LT1 carb intake it has provisions for a regular HEI Dist instead of the opti.

I know that it uses an hei, but I was wondering how to time this motor. It doesn't have any timing marks or a pointer. I've seen a pioneer balancer w/ timing marks (i think), but there still is no pointer.
