i recently accired an 84 k5 blazer with a 350... needless to say last summer in my 85 berlinetta i swaped out a 2.8 for a 5.0 well the 350 in the blazer is .60 over with edlebrock heads intake jr. victor. and a 490 lift cam. well needless to say that motor is currently sitting in my berlinetta and the 305 in the blazer. well im stuck or at least the motor is. i cant get the motor to line up to the tranny am i doing it wrong is there an easy way to do it?? also should i swap the pulleys? and does the 305 bracket for the ac fit on the 350 also how much for a pulley set? thanks

What transmission do you have that won't mate back up?
Pulleys/brackets/accessories should stay with the original vehicle.

Are you using the same tranny that was bolted up to the 305? If you aren't, the 700R4 that was bolted up to the 2.8 is totally different than the 700R4's used in the V8's, other than that it should bolt right up, you may have to drop the crossmember to get it moved around.
