LT1 wiring for dumies

Car: 92 formula conv.
Engine: LT1 355 FI
Transmission: 700R4
computer VATS LT1 swap PROBLEMS!!!
just done LT1 swap1992 transam,ran good for a week,the alarm system went off at random and since then the engine starts and shuts down,was told it could be problems with the VATS.NEED HELP!!!

Yes, that is VATS. I screwed with that for 3 weeks during my swap.
Solution #1. Get VATS programmed out of the ECM.
Solution #2. Replace VATS module with brand new module from GM. New module will "learn" key resistor value the first time it is tried.
Solution #3. Get VATS bypass module off Ebay.
**Edit - I just saw where you said it ran good for a week. It could still possibly be VATS, but I would check for spark and fuel first and see what you turn up.
