SBC oil pan on LT1?

SBC oil pan on LT1?

Will the oil pan from a normal SBC fit on an LT1? The oil pan on my LT1 is bent up, i could fix it but it would just be easier for me to get one of an SBC from the junkyard if it fits.

the only differne in the 2 is that the oil pan from the LT1 has a bung right above the drain plug for the low oil level sensor...othere then that there identical

Subject to year model of course... has to be the one for a 1-piece rear main seal motor.

what general years/cars would that be? (not just F-Bodies)

general? around 87+ anything from a 90s truck onward works, and is pretty easy to find.
