i have a question

i've got about $3,500 to $4000 im gonna use it all on a motor... which would be better 350 or a 400??... i plan on having it bored and everything and the machine shop here will do all the work... which is a better choice??.. i imagine 400 sb parts are more expeive then 350 partS?.... would would i be able to get the quicker time out of??..

There is no replacement for displacement. You tell me which would do better.

Boring is NOT a method of gaining HP. It is merely a maintanance routine, nothing more. In otherwords, don't bore it unless it needs it. Let the shop determine that.
