2000 Z

Alright guys, i just found my parts car i was wanting to buy. Found a 2000 Z that was wrecked that i was gonna part out for my interior and engine/tranny. tell me what you guys think it's work if you can, so i have room to negociate. it's a 2000 Z-28, with a LS1 of course, and a t-56 backing that. the guy says it got hit in the side, so none of the engine componants should be in that bad of shape, and the airbags weren't deployed. Not sure how many miles are on it, i was gonna find out from him next e-mail i send him...let me know what you guys think

sounds really nice.. side shots are usually the best..

i did exactly the same with a 99 TA.. i paid just a little over 5k for it with 22k miles hit in the front bumper.. i do however life in canada so shippin was pretty expensive around 2k with duty and taxes and what not.. the only ls1 engine i could find up here was 6500$ canadian for a 98 with 120k kms on it.. i got the entire car for that much..

there is a ton of work in strippin it.. make sure you have a fair bit of storage... i managed to take everything apart solo so it is possible, the front craddles comes out really easily too

there are a ton of parts to sell but i think the firebird parts are a bit more popular.. taillights.. interior.. etc..

it all depends what kinda options the car has.. t-tops, leather, what kinda wheels.. etc etc.. if i were to guess i would say around 5k-6k would be a fair price for the car
