v6 to v8
Found the sticky helopful but does anyone havea site or a tutorial/their build up process of a v6 to say a 350 4 bolt main? I think because this v6 is toast and I can't figure out what is wrong, I may just do the 350 swap anyways. I have tired searching,c an't find anything really helpful yet

Motor mounts need to the front, new tranny, new gauge cluster. Thats it. Everything else is the same. You'll just have to route your A/C and power steering custom.

With the exception of what's different between a V6 and V8 car/engine, it's a matter of doing the engine pull properly by labelling everything as you go, and then changing what's V6-unique in the car to the required V8 stuff. Take pictures before you start and as you go. The typical Haynes-type shop manual is good enough for the step-by-step of the removal and install.
If you get 3rd gen V8 accessories and brackets, you don't have to custom anything. I pulled the entire AC system out of each car without opening up the system, so even that didn't require anything unusual.
The sticky tells the rest. I tried to make it as chronological as I could, but didn't intend it to be step-by-step.
It's hard to beat a V6 to V8 swap when it comes to learning what these cars are made of.

Well just for the sake of thirdgen.org I'm going to do a step-by-step pictures included wherever possible of a v6 to v8 swap to help anyone else who does this project, not to mention the extreme documentation that will be on my site about it.
I will keep everyone posted.
