LS1 AC Questoin!!
Alright putting together everything i need for my ls1 swap. Got the motor/trans and some other odds and ends. But i have a question about the ac(i have searched), i will be using the stock ac from my 2001 ls1 motor i bought and i'm wondering what i have to do to get it hooked up. My car is already converted to 134a if that makes a difference, i'm just wondering if i have to modify the lines or what.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Justin
P.S. - i'm using a tubular k-member.

I used the stock A/C compressor and lines from the donor '99 Z28. I cut out the crossmember to clear the compressor and the line that runs under the compressor. The '99 lines are the right lenght, but has the wrong ends. Their are products out there that will let you splice high pressure rubber hoses together, which is what I will use to splice my old condensor and accumulator ends to the '99 hose assembly.

It doesn't matter that you already converted.
As far as the ends, the only ones I can find require a crimper:

I have seen fittings that didn't need crimped, but I cannot find them right now.

I was attempting to bend the old stock lines to fit the new compressor and the stock thirdgen , and i was very close to getting them to fit up right when one of the lines cracked a little bit from the bending
. I dont suppose anyone would know if you can repair a crack at all in an ac line? I am a little bit stuck on this as well because I think converting the ls1 lines to hook up to the accumulator and the condensor will be a hassle unless someone else has done it and can suggest the right parts.
