Well here is a list of pretty much everything for my 92 RS LS1. But do realize: a) I did a lot more than just an ls1 swap, I did the entire drivetrain, brakes, suspension, chassis, steering, mods, ect. b)I probably didnt research as much as I should have before I started and c)I had little patience with buying stuff and sorts so I ended up spending more money than I needed. So overall I think it can be done bare bones at about 5 or 6 k give or take. The most essential parts are engine(obviously), trans if you go that route, have speartech rewire the stock harness, conversion motor mounts and trans crossmember(which I have for sale by the way $215 shipped
), an upgraded fuel pump/system and conversion fuel lines. There are a couple other little things like trans and throttle linkage, but those are the main things to get it running. If you do a search there is a thread about costs of all different types of engine swaps. Hope this helps.

92 camaroLS1 is right on target. If done right figure 12 grand. As you can see by his list there many things that should be done to the car to make a well balanced hot rod.
The only reason to do the LS1/3rd gen swap is love for the 3rd gen. A newer F body car can be had for the same price.

I'm looking at about 20 to 25 grand from start to finish. But then again I'm not doing the LS1 swap & my cost estimates include everything from mechanical, wiring, body, to interior.
