Ok I finally have gotten a small amount of cash to do something about my engine. I blew something in it last summer most likely rod of some sort. I have a 305 right now and about 3000 in cash to spend. I am not sure what to to my car. All I know is that I want to put in at least a 350 and try and use my tpi on it. If anyone has anysuggestions as to what to do please help. I won't have to worry about a very large garage fee because i know someone who can do it rather cheep. Power is not something I am looking at right now just more or less something that I may be able to do something to later.

Only issue (very minor) is your '86 base on the '87-up heads. Not hard to overcome.
