How Do I Do This!!

I have an 84 t/a with a blown up 305 ho 4-bbl 5-speed computer controled engine. I have an 87 TBI truck 350 I was hoping to use but what would I need to complete the swap ? I heard I would need a 87&up TBI camaro-T/A oil pan and flywheel I know that I have to reem out the holes in my intake what else should I expect any info is greatly appreciated this is my first non- stock engine swap.

'87 TBI? Doesn't sound right.

Best bet would be to have your 305 heads gone through and put them on the 350 block. 1.94" intake valves would be a nice upgrade. Regardless of the truck heads, your 305 heads would be better.

You will need a 153-tooth flywheel for '86-up f-body application. Don't forget the pilot bearing if the truck was auto tranny. The oil pan on the engine should work without problems.

when you pull the intake off the truck motor you'll notice that it is a roller block without the roller cam. you'll probably want to upgrade at this point.

If the block is drilled & machined for the mechanical pump, the cam should have the lobe as well. If not, you're going to have to install an electric pump.
