how hard/much???

i was just wondering how hard it is, or should i say how much, take a 350 in a 355 or 383. i have a couple of old 350's in my shed, and was wondering if it would be cheaper to have one of those bored and built my self, or buy a block and finish that my self. wanna get rid of my LO3. to slow.

My machine work to go 30 over and balance a rotating assembly was 575 and thats only because I had the block decked as well. That was an extra 145. So About 435 to machine, clean, new cam bearings and freeze plugs if you don't need to deck your engine. You can get a reliable rotating assembly from www.cmotorsports.com its hard to beat their prices especially when the shipping is always 7.95 and their still 20% cheaper than Jegs or Summit. Get a cast crank, forged rods and some hyper pistons.
