Help make this thing move!
Hey folks...It's been a while, but life happens.
So far, I've got the stock L98 in my '89 IROC. I've had multiple wiring issues, I blew up the transmission, blah blah blah. I've decided to just gut the thing and start from scratch. I want to make this thing MOVE...and eventually want 500hp+.
The stock TPI is probably going to be ditched in favor of a stealth ram. The heads I'm looking at are the Trick Flow Kenny D's, since AFR's are so much more expensive. Anybody got any feelings on those heads?
What kind of things can the stock block take? I plan on supercharging the car as well, and it's got to take the pressure. Nothing crazy, but 10-12 psi is probably a good bet.
Cam choices...I want to stay computer controlled. So....where do we go from here?
Would it be more cost effective to simply get an LS-1 crate and build from there?
aaarrggghhh... I don't care if it takes me 10 years to build this thing. Somebody give me some input on where to go.
