ok Im new and have a few questions
first off let me say im new here. I just picked up a 91 rs t-top w/ 305 tbi motor from a friend. I'm going to replace the 305 with a 350 curtesy of my bro. The 350 is from his 76 chevy p/u and is bone stock. A friend of mine told me to pull out the cam, heads and intake and replace with the 305 parts to raise compression, and keep the vavle train/ cam the same "roller" instead of hydraylic<spelling. Also a nother friend of mine is giving me a set of 4:11 rear end gears for a 10 bolt 8 1/2" rear end. however i have no idea what rearend is in my rs. I'm new to the american "hotrod building". So any help would be helpful.
Also my name is Matt and I am the president of Imported Illuzionz car club. And my daily driver and my other project car is a 1990 Acura Integra w/ basic mods. And dont let the 4cyl fool ya it'll walk all over the rs and my buddies 84 z28 w/ mild built 350.
But my goal with the rs is to be faster then my daily and to have a nice toy.

Welcome aboard. May your quest be quickly realized.
The 305 parts on the 350 information is misinformed. The thought is okay, but the specifics are lacking.
1st, the cam won't work, as a factory roller cam requires a different block than the earlier engines with flat tappets had (the roller is hydraulic, by the way). However, computer compatible flat tappet hydraulic cams are available from all the major cam suppliers.
2nd, the TBI heads are pretty lame for performance, although TPI 305 heads would be okay.
3rd, the TBI intake manifold is pretty lame, more info about that can be found on the TBI forum.
Other than that, it's a good plan.

so how should i go about doing this. should i switch it to a carb. And as far as the throttle bearing it needs replacing neways. but i dont have a couple hundred laying around for a new one. But my buddy has a older cam for his 80 stingray that im sure would work in the 350 only prob is that it doesn't come with matching valvetrain. but its free. he said something like a 410 lift duration or something. and what car would i find a 8 1/2" 10 bolt rear end. and would it be a direct swap.

I'd suggest you check out the TBI forum for information about what it takes to get a 350 running properly under TBI.
Same for putting a carb on - seach the Carburetor forum.
8.5" 10-bolts are not even close to a bolt-in in a 3rd gen. Either beef up your 7.625" 10-bolt, or go to the aftermarket for a 12-bolt or 9" - very expensive, probably not warranted.
