Has any body out there heard of the brand new aluminum vortecs w/68cc chambers? Is there valve lift limit prob w/ these as I have read in other threads? Like 470 My buddy who is an engineer for gm say they will be the bomb for my 383 stroker that is being built as I write, I'm getting close to buying intake & want to know if anyone has had experienced these? They go for $1100 in the jegs I do believe and I got them for 600

For 600 bucks run em anyway. If ya have to swap out the valve springs. Go by your cam manufactures suddested valve spring.

The winning magazine engine masters challenge small block a couple of years ago used those heads, reportedly out of the box (the rest of the engine was anything but).
