i am thinking about gettin the used 350 tpi engine from hawks for 1200, for my 85 sc, do u think this engine is a good deal and would my 700r4 from my 2.8 bolt up to it?

 

The shipping might b the deciding factor on this one, you might be better off looking locally. You will also need a harness and ECm to make it all work together and correctly. your transmission will also need to be swapped out because of the different bolt patterns

 

ok, well it comes with the harness and ecm, but there trannys used r 300 so im talkin 1500 plus shipping so ill check on shipping but does this sound good?

 

Id chack on that shipping, Im sure you can do better, Im not nocking Hawks at all here but I say that the engine can be had cheaper, Ive seen entire cars wrecked go for that so its all in where you look.
