will it hold up?

Im taking the motor out of my s10 and putting it in the camaro. The car has a stock 700r4 and im wondering if it will hold up to my motor here are the specs

355 speedpro slugs, ported heads, 10.2:1 compression, crane 282H, eddy RPM intake, Holley 600 vac secondarys, hedman longtubes

I do have a tci streetfighter th350 with 2500 stall that is backup but if i could have overdrive that would be cool too. If i have to use my 3 speed hows the B&M mount work out? Can i use the stock shifter too? or would i have to swap itout for something else?

A properly built TH700 should be able to handle that engine. Stock, it would be disappointing.

I haven't seen the B&M TH350 torque arm bracket personally, but haven't heard any complaints about them, either. If I were considering a TH350 or TH400, I'd go with the Spohn crossmember & torque arm, which puts the mount on the crossmember instead of the transmission. It's what the factory should have done.

The only nit I have with your combo is the carb. Why not a DP, something like a 650 or 750 cfm? With proper stall, it would be the deal for 1/4 mile performance.

Well the original carb was a 750 holley (ford style) never could get it tuned right and wouldnt run worth a damn. I got the 600 with a fresh rebuild for 120 bucks. Motor ran great with this carb so i was happy. i dont have the money for a carb at this point but i could swap later. Whats wrong with the stall? not enough? Any other recomendations? You've been a big help so far with this!

Regardless of carb, you need enough converter stall to let the engine immediately get into its powerband. With that cam, you'll probably need at least 2500-3000, with 3500 probably being good for best drag strip performance.
