need cam recommendations on roller cam
i got a roller 350 motor from a 98 vortec truck....it dont have a mechanical fuel pump lobe, so i have to get an aftermarket cam...
i'm not lookin for much, just maybe "one notch" or two above stock...i'm not wanting to change or modify anything, just upgrade the cam a bit....
i'm gonna just use the existing quadrajet, and upgrade to a performer intake to use my carb on the vortecs....
i want more bottom end than top end...i just like take off grunt
its going in an 85 non comp controlled (of course)

Sounds like you plan on using a mechanical pump. Does the 1998 motor have a place on it for a mechanical pump? I didnt think it would being that new, but I may be wrong.
