Hello: Is there anyone out there running a 327 powered Firebird/Camaro with the WC T-5? The logic behind this question is having a high winding motor, with modest torque, and not having to upgrade the WC T-5. It does'nt have to be a 327 either. The point I'm making is to have a high output without having to worry about grenading the T-5. Comments?

There have been those who have run non-WC T5's behind 400s for years. The key is no clutch dumps and no speed shifting.

Basically, no huge sudden loads on it, and it will be fine. If you are going to stand on the throttle, do it from a bit of a roll, not from a stand-still.
