Vortec Head Question
so my 305 TPI gave out on my 89 IROC and going for the 350 TPI ... i was thinking of getting a set of vortec heads i know u need the vortec manifold but i have a small doubt ... my TPI doesnt have a "EGR" tube and the vortec manifold has it and my question is .. is it manditory to plumb it into the exhaust or can i place a block off plate on the manifold were the tube is ..... any one have the vortec setup... any infomation would be a big help

You can block it off and then program it out of the PROM.
