I have short tube Hooker headers on my 305 tpi right now and would like to reuse my entire exhaust setup when I swap to a 383 using an older pre-87 block. Is this possible or will the headers bolt holes not match up with the holes on the new heads? They have no tubes for any type of smog equipment so they are just straight headers.

 

Yes you can use them. The exhaust ports are in the same location.
