help
Im new to the muscle car scene and i have a 87 Z28 camaro, 305 4bbl edlebrock carb as well as manifold, and headers. every where i turn i get that the 305 is no good. what is the max hp i could get from it, and what mods would i have to make? or would it just be cheaper to swap to a 350?

Check out the 305 thread in the FAQ forum.
You can just about double the factory rated HP with full exhaust upgrade, head work, and cam upgrade while keeping the car streetable and reliable, without touching the shortblock. All of that will transfer to a 350 shortblock, which will give you about another 50 HP bump (depending upon the upgrades you did to the 305).
Edelbrock carb, eh? That I would consider a downgrade from the factory carb.
