Ok, now i have gone trough alot of the threds on this sight and it has become verry helpfull. but i would still like some more spesfic help. (not jsut with my spelling ), i have a 1982 z28 camaro was 305 auto, then i got the car, no engine tranny or anythnig. we had recently taken the TPI off of my bros 88 iroc 305 and now i want to install it on my car, now i know i have to get an e prom and injectors and a cuple of other things. my list includes everything stock on the TPI except the knock sensor witch is for a 350. now the engine is a 1974 355 with flat top pistons, ported and polished 882 heads, .488 .510 edelbrock performer cam, and a few other goodies. will my current TPI setup work on this engine till i get the cash to sink into the injectors and other things or am i just going to fubar my engine?

You should be alright. The 305 injectors might be marginal to feed your motor at high rpm (I don't know how much hp the motor will make). Even if you didn't have enough injector, as long as you aren't running nitrous or a blower, your motor should be able to take the resulting lean condition. I would, of course, recommend staying away from the redline until you can verify proper fuel supply.

 

welll if i run an adjustabul fuel presure regulator, what all do i have to change?
