2.8 to 350 swap questions?

Steering pump wont work because the bracket is different. If you could fab a way to bolt ur existing pump to the 350 ud be set, and the distributor definately wont work, dont try it. maybe someone else could shed light on the T-5, i know for an auto trans, like the 700r4, you dont wanna use a v6 tranny on the v8 because the hydro pump is different and it will cause premature wear, not sure about the t-5s though. Axle/Gears: 3.42, 3.23, 3.23, 3.73
The V6 car has a different bell houing(will not mate to V8), Transmsission has a different spline count(V6=14 spline V8=26 spline, clutch disc is smaller in diameter. So no the 2.8 T5 will not bolt up to a 350
