Something seems weird

I just bought my car a 84 T/A for $500 its got a 350 with a 383 stroker kit in it. Its got a edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold when it got it and i just looked up the casting numbers on the heads and they are heads from a 1970 400 engine. is this weird?

Definately not weird at all. When someone rebuilt it they used the 400 heads, maybe the stock ones were bad or couldn't be rebuilt. Nothing I'd be worried about. The 400 might have come with bigger valves than the stocks.

I know its nothing to worry about because they are good heads and everything. I just thought it was a little weird, maybe because ive never seen it done before.
