Oil Pressure Sender

I am building an engine right now that is a GM 880 block, which is around a 95-96 block i think. Tried using the oil pressure sender off of my old block, which was the stock block from a 1992 firebird, it was a 350CID. I am wondering what year car i should be looking at that has a sender that will fit it? Any one else had any experiences like this? Also...i went to auto zone and tried to find something...guy looked me up a sender from a 95 GM truck, and it was pretty much the same as the old one.

And in case you are wondering how it wont fit...the threads are the same, its just that where you put the wrench on it, is too large in diameter and hits the block, so you cant get it in the hole.

Thanks.

Just wanted to let you all know that i went to the local "Discount Auto Parts" store, explained what i needed. The man looked up in his parts book and found exactly what i needed. Fit perfectly.
