anyone using this radiator setup?
I'm swapping an LT1 into an '89 RS that originally had a V6.
I went with the radiator from the '89 IROC b/c everything bolts in much easier.
Now I need to find a lower radiator hose. The stock upper hose for the LT1 works fine, but the lower one is too small to fit over radiator outlet.
Anyone know a part nbr or an application that would fit? I've walked a few parts stores back rooms and nothing yet.

By how much is it 'too small'?
I had that problem with my Griffin rad... the lower outlet was about 1/8 dia too big, but a little oil on te inside of the hose and a little massaging got it on there.

I use a 92 Corvette hose on mine. I had to cut a little off of the lower end to move it away from the idler arm.

Thanks, I'll try the '92 Vette.
Air Adam, the lower neck of radiator is 1-3/4" and the lower LT1 hose is 1-13/32", so it's almost a full 1/2". From what I've seen most of the lower hoses for the late 80's IROC are 'flared' at the rad neck, so it is just a larger size hose than most where it fits the radiator. It was so small I didn't even try greasing it, but if I don't find a hose I like I just may try it.

I am also using the thirdgen radiator and dual fans so, I know this hose will fit your setup. On my cardomain site you can see the top of the hose in one of my pics.
