Carbed or f.i.
Carbed or f.i.
Ok everyone. I am looking for some HONEST opinions here. This is my goal to run 10's or faster. I want to be in the 700+ hp range. I need to know the pros and cons about BOTH f.i. and carb I also plan to keep this a street car as well. Thank you for all your time and input.

Well, you don't have to be putting out 700+ hp to hit the 10's. Get an LS1, supercharge it with the right gears and you'll be in the 10's easy. A guy here where I live at runs mid 9's with a 00 Trans Am LS1 with an LS7 cam, DS1C supercharger and a turbo 400 for the tranny, that's it. If he's running that, imagine what the motor would run if it was in a 3rd gen which weighs about 400lb lighter than the 4th gen.
