Hey guys I'm in the process of pulling the LT1 from my donor 93Z28, I'm taking the engine, 700R4, computer thats in the engine compartment, and the harness on the engine. Whatelse will i need to swap it into my 87 RS with a FI 2.8v6? I am also taking the driveshaft, torque arm, and the fuel pump if i need it. Can anyone think of anything else i'm missing? Also, Is it really hard to wire them in, I have read the forums, but if i can save the money i would prefer not to buy the painless wiring kit. Any input would be great.

 

Your driveshaft and torque arm will work, no need for it. Get the engine harness, underhood fusebox and wiring and that should be enough to get you going.
