scam?

so i was looking on ebay and i found an lt1 with a transmition the only thing is ive been reading about people buying engines on ebay and getting scammed. this motor that im looking at is starting off at $1 and says its from a 1997 camaro ss. just wondering if im being paranoid or if this seems really fishy.
