TPI swap Question

Hello,

Some of you may have seen a few of my posts around so far but if not here's my situation.

I have bought an 89 RS Roller (very little rust) and Have a 350 Longblock out of a 92 suburban. I am looking to set this up as a TPI and have a few questions that I have not been able to find complete answers to.

1. Is the TPI engine wiring harness still capable of going through the kick panel on the passenger side quarter panel? I have read that the TPI harness goes through the firewall by the driver side.

If this is so then..
2. Do i need to get an interior harness to jump from the driver side to the passenger side where the ECM will be or ..?

3. I know a while back when I was looking at doing an engine swap in my 90 RS it was debatable if the engine and trans could "shoehorned" in together. Is there enough room to assemble the engine and trans out side of the car and put them both in at the same time?

Thanks for any input everyone.

1. All ECM harnesses, regardless of engine, induction, etc., go through the passenger kick panel. The stuff on the driver's side is common to all configurations, which is the only reason it is ever brought up.
2. Not so, see #1.
3. You'll have to leave the plenum & runners off of the engine, but otherwise you can stab the engine/transmission together.
