How much is it??
How much is it to get a mechanic from a shop to swap my LO3 engine out with a 350 TPI or something? How much do you think they would charge. I probably wont do this but I if I needed the engine swapped soon, how much do you think it would be?

As in, "too much".
Go out and price '89 L98 cars. That's about what they would charge you to switch over your current engine to a TPI engine.

thats kinda what I thought but I was thinking if it wasn't that much why not get it done quick and easily.

Our cars are old enough and non-mainstream enough that they really are becoming "hobbiest" cars. Meaning unless you're made of money, doing it yourself is the only real justifiable way to do it.

Ive been doing everything myself on both of my thirdgens for the past 4 years and totally agree that you are bes toff doing **** yourself since mechanics will charge way too much for these cars
