bbc swap question
I am going to be starting a bb swap in the near future so the 406 shortblock and 700r4 will be up for sale soon. But anyway I am going to be using a 454 and boring .060" and 4.250" crank (496) and wanted to know which block is better? I was thinking about just finding a gen IV block and then I saw there were some gen VI blocks that are 1 piece rear seal and came with roller cams and had the fuel pump boss. Are most of you guys running hyd roller cams or solid? did the later gen IV motors use a roller cam from the factory or did that start with the gen V?
