Would a 383 directly go into my RS if i did a motor swap? What ecm could i use for it? Here is a cheap 383 crate motor for tbi on ebay.

I would need..

- 350 injectors
- Fuel pump
- New throttle body unit
- different ecm

what else?

 

That's closer than most would be, assuming the seller delivers what they say.

I can't imagine TBI heads supporting a 383, but perhaps I just don't have as much imagination as the seller. Notice no power figures are given. I was going to say figure on replacing all of your stock exhaust, but with TBI heads, maybe it won't matter.

You wouldn't need a different ECM, just a tuned PROM.

 

i had an ostrich emulator and datalogging equipment but i recently sold it. im not really interested in tuning again because it takes too long, is there anyway i could get a chip other than tbichips?
