v6 to v8

hey, im planning a 350 spap to my 86 camaro sports coupe. i can get the 350 block fairly cheap and i was wondering what i would need to do to it to get about 300hp? im thinking im just gonna get a doner v8 car for all of the parts to get the 350 in, would that be cheaper then looking for all the pieces in car yards and such? im only 15 and dont have alot of auto experience, but i have found out that im very mechanical inclined and have alot of patence, i can get just about all the tools i need, would this be a hard swap for someone of my age and qualifacations?
thanks,
Josh
