Building a 350 L31
i purchased a Stock L31 with a spun bearing. ($125) Only has 10,000 miles on it and no intake. I have a couple of parts that were given to me that I can use to either A. Sell or B. Use. I have a Holley 650 double pumper. I know nothing about cams and what not. I am trying to pick up as much info as I can absorb. So here is my question. What would be a great intake, cam, and torque converter to run?????? I do have a turbo 350 tranny that is going in as well. Also what would be a great upgrade so that later I can run a supercharger. Sorry if I seem dumb founded when it comes to this. I do have some knowledge when it comes to cars, but mostly it is just replacing parts that are broke. Not so much on the performance upgrades! Any help/advise I can get would greatly welcomed!

You might want to think about selling your double pumper. It sounds like you're interested in more power than it can provide.
Now is the time to do lots of reading over in the power adder forum. Most likely your heads are okay, and you'll just need to upgrade to forged pistons. Your cam/intake/carb choice will be based on the power you want to make with a supercharger. It's a package that goes with modifying your heads as well. You probably should figure on a set of 1 3/4" headers as well.
Good luck, and start the searching and reading!

The supercharger is something I want....but more down the road for NOW! Right now I am wanting something that I can add now that I will not have to replace when running the supercharger.
