tpi to carb harnes was cut ?'s
My brother in laws and I are putting a carbureted 350 in an 89 formula. We have some issues. I have read the tech’s info on how to go from tpi to carb but when we got the car it had no motor and the wires have been cut so we have no idea what dose what. We were thinking about getting a harness and just starting over but with kids and stuff like that $ is an issue. So we would like to use what we have. Any one that can help us by letting us know were to begin on how to wire the car up to run and stuff would help. We could hard wire the car but would like it to start on the ignition and use the stock gages. It would all so be nice to use the lights. Andy help on were to get the info or anything would help. Also we are not using any of the stock accessories.

I know $'s are limited, but a factory shop manual from Helm will be worth every penny. You will be able to identify the wires you'll need from the diagrams it will contain.

Your definatly going to need a wiring schematic... local library might have a decent manual for your car... (cuts costs using library)
All the wires you'll need will be coming from the drivers side bulk head.
most of the other wires on the pass. side went to the computer which from the sounds of it you will not be using.
Most GM wiring is very similar.
It doesn't take many wires to do a carb setup. You should be fine!
